Blue Cross archive

The Blue Cross animal charity has put a First World War archive online, with posters and other documents.
It  includes an interesting  booklet, ‘The Drivers’, Gunners’ and Mounted Soldiers’ Handbook to Management and Care of Horses and Harness. Issued by Our Dumb Friends League Blue Cross Fund, 1915.’

They link the archive to the current War Horse exhibition at the National Army Museum in Chelsea, and inevitably to the forthcoming Spielberg film.

Unfortunately it no longer seems to be available online from the Blue Cross website.

You can still find it on-line if you search on the full name.
